Modec Tooling and Prototyping started in May 2011 by the acquisition of Vostermans Tooling and Prototyping by Modec. As a result of this acquisition both enterprises moved during summer holiday 2011, to a new location at the Willem Barentszweg in Venlo.
On this location we have very modern facilities including a pattern shop of 1550m²
with 5 CNC milling machines, modelling paste machine, spray cabin and a resin/laminating room. In the field of engineering we have 6 CAD/CAM professionals and the most modern software at your disposal.
Modec Tooling and Prototyping is an innovative pattern shop in the area of the automotive industry, foundries, composite- and plastic industry, design, prototyping and construction.
Our profile extends from product development up to and including delivery of the 0- and series production.
Our specialities are making (ply)wooden-, plastic- or aluminium models and moulds.
Among other things, Modec Tooling and Prototyping makes coquilles for the foundries.
We take care of the management of the models and we deliver proto- as well as series cast products. We also make aluminium dies for vacuum forming, blow-, rotation- and TSG injection moulds. Prototypes and/or 0-serie form Ferro or non-Ferro material, plastic or composites.
For the construction world we made several poured concrete moulds.
As a responsible entrepreneur Modec Tooling and Prototyping is a member of the Dutch
Association of pattern shops and an approved Kenteq learning company.
